Ski Safaris

A ski safari is a journey through the mountains on skis, and is often referred to as “touring without tears”!

The concept is a journey through the mountains from one resort to the next so we have a real sense of travel by the end of the week.

We use a wide variety of transport: uplift, taxis, trains, buses, helicopters, and minimal skinning uphill. And of course there’s plenty of downhill skiing!

We stay in valley hotels or mountain hotels within ski resorts which more comfort than the average high mountain hut.

Ski safaris are an ideal stepping stone from off piste through to ski touring, though many people find them just perfect and come back year after year for another safari.
