It's been quite challenging to find soft snow during the first 2 months of 2011. We certainly haven't had any complaints at the quality of the snow, but it's been fairly hard work finding the fluff. Grippy hardpack is great for steep skiing, but we've been looking forward to a change of style.
That's certainly here now, with 50cm in the Tirol. I wished I'd had a snorkel on several occasions today. It was so ridiculous I didn't even get the camera out till the end of the day.
