Alpine Summer kicks off
The 2008 alpine summer season has kicked off with a bang!
The hills have been VERY snowy after the last 4 weeks of bad weather, and the ensuing sunshine has meant a rapid transition in the snowpack. Deep wading in slush has been avoided with early starts, and conditions on some north faces have been perfect for a short window.
