Here's where you can find details of upcoming events relating to my guiding work:
With fresh snow in the Alps at the beginning of September, the ski programme for winter 2011 is now fully on line. There's still some space in January for bespoke projects and one week in mid March still available. Book now!
The Kendal Mountain Festival 2010 is rushing towards us and I'll be there doing my bit coordinating all the presenters.
I'll be presenting the final evening of the Chamonix Adventure Film Festival this Sunday, the 22nd August at 7pm in the Salle Bicentenaire. Be there!
Snow heads stand by: my winter programme is almost finalised and will be published very soon. To whet your appetite, here's a painting from Janet Johnson of action in Leysin in 2010.
It's been great for the suntan but you can have too much of a good thing. The searingly hot weather of the past 3 weeks has finally come to an end.
After an unstable late spring, the snow climbing conditions in late June are the best they've been for many years.
It's official - the ski season is over for me. Thanks to everyone: clients, fellow guides, lifities, hut gardiens and hoteliers for making it such fun. See you all in 2011!
The summer for 2010 is filling rapidly. If you are thinking of booking, do it soon.
We have some GREAT conditions just now. Click here for some images on the 1st March in the VB
Working with the Compagnie du Mont Blanc, we've produced a video to reduce the number of skiers falling into crevasses. It will be screened all winter at the Aiguille du Midi and Grands Montets.
