Hi Andy
A huge thank you for some really fantastic skiing. Nothing ever turns out quite like you thought it would does it, and in this case surpassed by a mile, if not two!! Thanks for your adaptability and resourcefulness in coping with changing plans, dodgy knees, gales, power cuts and mountains of on-piste powder snow, John and I both got so much out of the training, and I was secretly smug to see John worn out after a day spent playing catch up though the trees, and even more smug to leave the kids in my wake after your coaching!
I really had no idea what I was letting myself in for, just following a yearning to leave the pistes and people behind, and get up into some high mountain scenery, and your teaching has really inspired and motivated me to get on with it. So.....roll on April, lets do some more!!
All the best
Kate

Hi Kate,
Thanks very much for your lovely note. It was a pleasure skiing with you and John, especially so with all that fantastic powder.
I look forward to taking the next steps with you to get off the piste and then into the mountains on touring kit.
All the best
ANDY P

Andy, I had a fabulous 2 days with you on my Off Piste Intro. I have to say that after 37 years of skiing (I started young, honest !) I was slightly apprehensive about pushing my boundaries into an area that I knew so little about. I need not have worried - your no nonsense approach coupled with some pretty "spicy" weather created a perfect scenario to learn about avalanche risk , search techniques and off piste skiing. Your tips on ski technique improvement had me working away like a dog with a bone for the remaining days of my ski holiday ! Those bad habits honed to perfection over the last 37 years have taken a bit of sorting out ..... not to mention the places I have skied blissfully ignorant of the risks I was taking. We have another day with you towards the end of the season which I am looking forward to, perhaps I will have managed to venture out back here in Scotland for a bit of practice by then. I might even manage to improve my fitness a touch so I can try to keep up with you...
Thanks again for such a great experience,
Kind regards
John
