Andy,
Thanks for a hugely enjoyable week, working our way along the valleys and lift systems to the south of the Rhone Valley from Verbier to Zermatt. I loved visiting the less well-known resorts, like St. Luc, that turned out to be real gems: uncrowded but extensive and perfectly groomed pistes. The conditions were just great for practising those wide radius carving turns you taught us! That was beautifully balanced with some lovely off-piste sections, notably the classic Pas de Boeuf run down to Oberems, with - amazingly for this season - untracked powder pitches.
The hotels and huts were welcoming & friendly, and comfortable with great food. The stand-out was the Hotel Weisshorn above St. Luc - not to be missed! This ski safari is a brilliant formula for anyone wanting rather more skiing and less climbing than a traditional hut-to-hut tour, but with similar variety and adventure, in stunning mountain terrain.
All the best and thanks again,
Peter

Hi Peter
Thanks for your kind email. As ever, a pleasure skiing with you, and I'll be pondering options for 2012 as soon as this season comes to a close in May.
All the best
