Wadi Rum Rock

Wadi Rum just north of Aqaba in Jordan has some extraordinary climbing potential

The sandstone cliffs are up to 14 pitches high, and require an alpine approach to speed and navigation. The landscape is almost lunar in style, the local Bedouin are friendly and hospitable, and the whole desert climbing experience is, quite frankly, unique.
