Intro to Ice
To start ice climbing, all you really need is the motivation to get out into the cold and enjoy it!
All the specialist kit: axes, crampons, even boots can be hired here in Chamonix, and I provide all the safety kit – ropes, harnesses, helmets and so on. There are some great intro venues here in Chamonix for ice debutantes, just minutes walk or snowshoe from the ski resort car parks. Why not give it a go?
