Great Snow Cover down to valley level
The snow cover in the Alps is the best for many years at this stage of the season.
I was out in St Gervais with a bunch of guides on holiday before the season kicks off on Saturday. With very few lifts open, we were able to take advantage of the poor visibility to ski un tracked pistes with 30cm of fresh.
All resorts in the area will be opening on Saturday the 20th, and it looks like we're in for a great season.
