Chamonix Adventure Film Festival: presenting and judging in 2011
The 2011 Chamonix Adventure Film Festival happens from 16 to 24 August and I'm stoked to have a dual role as both presenter and member of the jury.
Last year it was great to present the Saturday night with some fantastic films, my favourite being the stunning Australis featuring Chamonix based skiers Stian Hagen and Andrea Binning. This year I'll be presenting the Saturday night again where the line up looks even more exciting. I'm really looking forward to seeing Cold.

One of the drawbacks of being a busy mountain guide is that I can't usually get to see all the films. For example, Cold is showing on Friday 19th August when I'll be my way back from either the Eiger or the Matterhorn. So it's going to be a privilege and a pleasure to be on the jury this year and get to see all the films chosen for this year's Festival. Along with journalist Sylvain Allemand, Patagonia's Hellen Allera-Marie and World Cup Climbing Champion Liv Sansoz I'll have the responsibility of awarding the prizes to a select few of the 200 submissions from an international line up.
