Maps
Here's a handy piece of info from Susie Amann on where to get hold of maps. The Valais 100,000 map is especially useful for planning trips across the Valais, and shows the Chamonix Zermatt Haute Route in its entirety.
"For future reference - if any of your clients want Valais 1:100000 maps (or for that matter anything else), you can get them from The Map Shop at Upton on Severn - I found their website a pain but the freephone number works well, and they have a much better range than Stanfords. Its a little shop in a small town but crammed full of maps, and things like romers and other gadgets - and it's almost on the way between 2 of our shops which is quite handy!"
