Accommodation in Chamonix

I am often asked to recommend somewhere to stay in Chamonix. It all depends on your budget, whether it's 5 star hotel or camping!

Some points to note are:

Accommodation is generally cheaper in Les Houches than Chamonix.
In full winter season , many establishments will only rent on a week basis from Saturday to Saturday

A recommended apartment in Chamonix

Tyler Simonton recommends the following apartment which is located at the southern end of Chamonix high street.

The apartment was excellent, and the owner was very responsive to all requests and questions.

Enjoy the winter - the powder on Sunday morning was a great treat!
