Hi Andy
Just want to say thanks again for our recent ice climbing trip to beautiful Cogne. Your recommendation to go there was spot on and the climbing was really inspiring. Your good judgement and knowledge of the area meant you were able to chose exactly the right combination and progression of routes for us so that it offered a challenge but was still very enjoyable. Your patience was exemplary too when Claire and I separately managed to drop a good proportion of your rack on Monday Money - thank goodness you also have a talent for retrieving lost gear!
Now if only you would stop making it look quite so easy when you are leading practically vertical ice.....

Hi Noelle and Claire
I've been a firm believer in Italy in general and Cogne in particular for many years, so it was very gratifying for me that Cogne lived up your expectations.
I was especially pleased with the steep ice we managed on our last day and how you both kept it together despite initial apprehension on first seeing the crux pitch.
Good effort, and I look forward to climbing Italian rock with you in summer.
