Hi Andy,

Thanks again for introducing my daughter and son-in-law to the delights of touring last week in Chamonix. As always you were so much more than an excellent guide. You clearly enjoy giving your clients the benefit of your considerable knowledge and experience of off-piste skiing, if needed and wanted of course. In my 15 years of touring this is not something I have often found with other guides. I was particularly impressed with your sensitivity to know when to stop giving further advice and when to knock off altogether. You are clearly a very skilled teacher.

I thought that for once I had managed not to lose anything until I left my ski poles in your car. You must be much more relaxed at the start of the season because you managed this time not to call me a "bloody fool". Thanks for returning them and for your restraint.

I hope to meet up again before too long. Have a good season!

Peter

Would just like to reinforce Peter's comments.

As a novice to off piste and touring, I gained some excellent insights and now feel confident I can move ahead in this area.

Would thoroughly recommend Andy, whatever your level might be.

Thanks again

Hi Peter and John

Thanks for the feedback, especially on the teaching/coaching aspect. I had just come from the British Mountain Guides Ski Technique course which has a strong component of coaching in it. It's good to get such instant results from the Continuous Professional Development training scheme which we undertake as guides.

It was a real pleasure skiing with you all, and I hope to see you and the family for more ski action in the future.

All the best
