Thanks for a great week guiding Martin Moran's Oberland course - the ascent of the ridge and view from the Finsteraarhorn was a superb highlight that will remain with me for a long time.
Hope to be back with you for more summits in the not-too-distant future!

Just back from a week in the Bernese Oberland guided by Andy Perkins. What a triumph that was! If ever there was an example of the difference a guide makes, this was it. Dubious weather, complicated logistics, all the fun of the fair at some busy huts - all in a day's work for Andy. We had some magnificent days in quite a wild backwater of the Alps, three fine summits and had a less successful time trying to teach bridge of an evening! I'd thoroughly recommend this trip to any lover of semi-populated wild places.
