Hi Andy,
Thanks for a great time climbing last week. I was particularly impressed with the weather! How do you manage to organise that?

You had devised a really good, varied programme climbing both rock and that slippery white stuff, then executed it with aplomb. I particularly enjoyed summiting MB du Tacul on Wednesday after climbing on the Triangle. I fear I would have run out of energy if we'd left that until Friday as originally planned. It was also a pleasure to spend time chatting with you in the huts.

I'm looking forward to getting some more good routes done with you in 2012, and will be in touch soon to start the planning process.

Finally, I must say how truly sorry I am about pouring liquid chocolate over your hat. Is there any chance you can change your profile picture so that I don't have to keep looking at it?

Enjoy your well-deserved rest!

Andy

Hi Andy,

It was my pleasure organising the weather. What I do is wave my magic wand and it just happens

It's not often I have a week where I feel compelled to blog it, but in this case I was inspired to write at http://www.andypmountainguide.com...ng/Community/Blog/End-on-a-High-Note . I had great fun climbing stuff which is much steeper than my usual guiding terrain. I'll definitely be taping for the cracks when we get together in 2012!

Don't worry about the hat - it's been in service since 2004 and is getting a little tired. A brand new Arcteryx Muon cap arrived in the post last week so I'll be wearing that next summer. And my profile pic has the hat from before this one - a Talkeetna Air Taxi model from Alaska as opposed to the slightly chocolatey IFMGA cap. So hopefully you can disassociate the two....

All the best

ANDY P
