Well, someone needs to get this rolling properly, so why not me? Just to say that last summer Andy gave me and my 16 year old son a great week of alpine mountaineering, brilliantly introducing said teen to the delights of safe movement in decent-sized Swiss mountains. The routes were pitched perfectly, enough to stimulate without exhausting or intimidating him, and I could relax completely in a way that would have been impossible if i'd tried to do it myself. Throughout Andy exceeded the call of duty in his socialising and support, and it was a pleasure to spend time with a man who is something of a legend in his own lunchtime.
I knew Andy from a trip to Shivling in 2003, where his conduct was equally remarkable. We'll be having another outing this september(unfortunately without son, school issues!), and hopefully more will follow.
And this new web-site looks great too! Well done.

The good luck was needed, and the Everest job was duly completed in far from ideal circumstances! I look forward to september's outings, especially any food and drink....I lost 36 pounds in weight, tee hee! If we manage a summit or two, that'll be a pleasant bonus! See you soon.

Excellent effort, sir! All the delays caused by the Chinese Olympic PR stunt must have been VERY frustrating, and I heard from Kenton Cool that it was all rather snowy this season as well.

I'm very much looking forward to our week of alpine climbing, and will be delighted to programme in some weight recuperation sessions - a few Savoyard or Valaisanne specialities should help do the trick!

Best wishes,

ANDY
