Hi Andy,
A little belated, but I wanted to thankyou for another excellent trip for Mark and I.
The week was fantastic and I learnt plenty of new skills. I couldn't believe how different the climbing techniques had to be on the varied types of rock and locations that we climbed. From the Arête du Doigt on Pointe Percée and then onto the Chapelle de la Gliere in the Aiguille Rouges and finally the Aiguille de la Persévérance. Every climb required a slightly different technique. The views were amazing. We felt spoilt by the luxury of the Lac Blanc hut, but its nice to get a bit of luxury every now and again.
Now we just need to sort out times and objectives for next year!

Hi Ray

Thanks for that. It was great that you guys adapted your objectives to cope with the hot weather. We really made the most of the days and I was really happy to be on alpine rock instead of tiptoeing around on weak snow bridges or being pelted with rockfall on Mont Blanc! Hope you got to see my blog entry at http://www.andypmountainguide.com/index.php/eng/Community/Blog/Respect after our encounter with Seb on the Pointe Percée. I was clearly inspired, so thanks for that too.

Yep - get in touch about dates for 2012. Mad for it as ever.
And have a good winter on the skis too.

All the best to you and Mark
